It's autumn now and one of my favorite things has always been the way the wind seems to make the leaves dance. I really enjoy those days when the sun is beaming and the brisk wind blows through my hair. This is why I love autumn; but sometimes, when the sun is at rest, the chills make me anticipate how long and cold this winter will be. The mountains in the distance are foggy, as is the city that lies beneath it. It's drizzling on us, and I'm not sure if it's because of the elevation, or if it's still hurricane season. My feet are pasted to my pink flip-flops from all of the mud we had been trekking through. We've walked what feels like a thousand miles, but I'm not even tired or the least bit out of breath.
